紹興蕺山外國語學(xué)校是一所紹興市教育局直屬的、由社會力量創(chuàng)辦的公益類民辦學(xué)校,它實施初高中學(xué)歷教育,并致力于建設(shè)面向國內(nèi)外名牌大學(xué)的優(yōu)秀生源基地。Shaoxing Foreign Language School is a non-profitable private school founded by local non-governmental force while under the superintendence of Shaoxing Education Bureau. It offers high school education ranging from Grade Seven to Grade Twelve, and is committed to cultivating outstanding students who aim to attend prestigious universities at home and abroad. 學(xué)校位于紹興市馬臻路147號,占地面積41.5畝,房屋建筑面積16039平方米。校園環(huán)境優(yōu)美,人文氣息濃厚,圖書室、閱覽室、實驗室、語音室等供學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)的場所一應(yīng)俱全,并廣泛運用于教育教學(xué)之中。學(xué)校擁有一流的教育教學(xué)設(shè)施設(shè)備和一支朝氣蓬勃、經(jīng)驗豐富的教師團(tuán)隊。The school is located in No.147, Ma Zhen Road, Shaoxing City, occupying 41.5 acres with 16,039 square meters of housing area. A modern library facilitated with one reading room, several laboratories and language labs and etc are opened to all students for independent learning on our beautiful campus which is also, at the time, full of humanism atmosphere. In addition, the school possesses not only the first-class teaching facilities, but also a vibrant and experienced team of teachers. 學(xué)校開始籌建于2014年10月,首屆新生于2015年8月入學(xué)。學(xué)校招生班規(guī)目標(biāo):初中12個班,高中18個班。The preparation work for the opening of school was initiated in October, 2014 and the first enrollment began in August, 2015. Totally 12 classes for Grade Seven to Nine and 18 for Grade Ten to Twelve are listed on the enrollment overall plan.辦學(xué)理念、辦學(xué)策略、人才培育目標(biāo)的定位Educational philosophy, educational policy, training targets ○“紹外”辦學(xué)定位:把“紹外”辦成紹興市最好的特色學(xué)校之一,繼而辦成浙江省最好的特色學(xué)校之一,最終要成為中國最好的特色學(xué)校之一。The orientation of “SFLS” is to be one of the best schools with distinct features in Shaoxing City, then to accomplish as the best in Zhejiang province, and ultimately to become one of the best ones in China.○“紹外”辦學(xué)目標(biāo):培養(yǎng)學(xué)生成為具有“國學(xué)根基、國際視野、精英素養(yǎng)”的現(xiàn)代公民。The goal of “SFLS” is to cultivate students into modern citizens equipped with solid ancient Chinese cultural knowledge and understanding, sharp global perspectives as well as qualities of modern elites.○“紹外”辦學(xué)策略:“特色辦學(xué)、多元選擇、錯位發(fā)展”,突顯外語特色的國際化教育,開通兩列“直通車”——“初高中六年一貫制”直通車,“多元化合作”出國留學(xué)直通車。The strategy for running “SFLS” highlights the characteristics of being an international foreign language education school, which, be more specific, means developing a school with her own features while providing students with multiple choice for comprehensive individual advancement; and the school provides two main express paths for students’ personal development – Program of Six-year Education (Domestic Education) and Overseas Study Projects on Diverse Co-operation.○“紹外” “一訓(xùn)三風(fēng)”:校訓(xùn):惟知惟行;校風(fēng):誠意慎獨;教風(fēng):因材施教;學(xué)風(fēng):格物致知。“SFLS” has one motto (only knowing can act) and there school spirits (conscious and self-restraining in privacy; teaching students in accordance with their aptitude; studying phenomena to acquire knowledge). 國際班簡介:Introduction of the international class 紹興蕺山外國語學(xué)校國際班通過把中式教育和西方教育兩種教育方式進(jìn)行最優(yōu)化的結(jié)合,通過在學(xué)習(xí)和生活各個方面培養(yǎng)學(xué)生獨立創(chuàng)新的意識和能力,使學(xué)生更高效地掌握專業(yè)知識,培養(yǎng)專業(yè)技能,獲得更優(yōu)質(zhì)的教育證書。International Class in Shaoxing Foreign Language School combines the merits of both the eastern and western education together in order to foster students’ awareness and ability of conducting independent innovation in all aspects of life and learning, to equip students with specialized knowledge and skills, and to obtain educational certificates with more values. 從項目合作機(jī)構(gòu)來說,紹興蕺山外國語學(xué)與上海交通大學(xué)、上海財經(jīng)大學(xué)、上海金融學(xué)院等國內(nèi)知名院校建立了國際預(yù)科合作關(guān)系,并經(jīng)授權(quán),成為這些大學(xué)在紹興唯一的生源基地。同時,學(xué)校也與浙江越秀外國語學(xué)院建立了小語種留學(xué)合作,并在初高中開設(shè)日語、韓語和西班牙語選修課。From the perspective of partnership, Shaoxing Foreign Language School is authorized to be the only enrollment base to the international courses of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai Institute of Finance and other well-known domestic institutions by establishing direct cooperation with them. Meanwhile, the school also establishes minority language program which provides foreign languages’ study, such as Japanese, Korean and Spanish, by working with Zhejiang Yuexiu Foreign Languages University; under this course system, those minority languages classes are opened as elective courses from Grade Seven to Twelve. 特色辦學(xué)措施——“1. 2.3.4.5”工程Educational Measures ○一個學(xué)制——六年一貫制:改變初中、髙中分段教學(xué)為六年一貫制教學(xué),讓學(xué)生得以避開中考,一氣呵成完成中學(xué)六年學(xué)業(yè),然后根據(jù)各自實際,或瞄向高考,或轉(zhuǎn)向國外留學(xué)。這樣可以有效地避免初、高中一些學(xué)科和教學(xué)內(nèi)容重復(fù)所帶來的學(xué)習(xí)時間浪費與沉重的學(xué)習(xí)負(fù)擔(dān),同時也可讓學(xué)生把節(jié)約下來的許多時間用到國內(nèi)高考、以及雅思和托??荚嚨瓤颇可稀?/span>One School System - The Six-year Barrier Free Program. This program transforms the separated educations of middle and high school into one system which allows students to avoid the entrance exam of high school. One can complete secondary school education within six years, and then according to their practical needs, either attend the domestic national entrance examination for college or seek for overseas education. This can effectively cut down the overlapped teaching content given in traditional middle and high schools and alleviate students’ stress caused by the heavy study load; while doing so, much time can be set aside for preparing the National College Entrance Examination or IELTS or TOEFL. ○兩個方向——根據(jù)學(xué)生及其家長的學(xué)習(xí)意愿與需求、家庭經(jīng)濟(jì)等實際情況,初中和高中各有兩個培養(yǎng)方向可供學(xué)生和家長選擇,即:初中除了六年一貫制實驗班外,還可選擇參加中考,然后去報考其它兄弟學(xué)校高中部;高中學(xué)生可選擇國內(nèi)高考班和國際教育班(出國留學(xué)直通車)。Two directions -- there are two training directions for students and parents to choose, based on the learning wishes and the family economic situations, namely experimental class. One can choose to participate in local entrance exam of high school before applying for other high schools; high school students can also choose either the class for domestic college entrance examination or the international classes. 國際化教育是本校教學(xué)的主軸,辦班模式呈現(xiàn)出了多元特點:與國內(nèi)名校(大學(xué))合作辦學(xué);與國外名校結(jié)對合作辦學(xué);與浙江越秀外國語學(xué)院合作,開設(shè)韓、日、西班牙等小語種選修課程,在此基礎(chǔ)上開設(shè)小語種課程班。Internationalization is the main axis of the school, providing diverse characteristics: cooperating with both domestic and overseas eminent universities and colleges, and opening selective languages classes, like Korean, Japanese and Spanish with the full support of Zhejiang Yuexiu Foreign Languages University. ○三自教育——行為自律、生活自理、學(xué)習(xí)自主。為更好體現(xiàn)“紹外”人才培養(yǎng)目標(biāo)特色,將原先在公辦學(xué)校盛行的三好學(xué)生標(biāo)準(zhǔn)——德、智、體(美勞),調(diào)整為“行為自律、生活自理、學(xué)習(xí)自主”等內(nèi)容,制定了一整套相應(yīng)的規(guī)范要求和評價標(biāo)準(zhǔn),編寫了“三自”校本教材,并具體細(xì)化落實在學(xué)生的日常學(xué)習(xí)生活中。Three-Self Education -- self-discipline behavior, self-relied campus life, self-managed learning. In order to reflect the "SFLS" education characteristics, we transform the originally standard which is prevalent in public schools that fostering good students in moral, intellectual, and physical (art and craft)aspects into the three-self education. We develop a set of appropriate regulatory requirements and evaluation criteria, compile the "three-self" school-based teaching materials, and more importantly, steadily put them into students’ daily management. ○四個團(tuán)隊——行政、教學(xué)、學(xué)生管理、科研。行政團(tuán)隊強(qiáng)調(diào)精致化、扁平化(辦事高效、快速、敏捷)。教學(xué)團(tuán)隊力求精英化,“紹外”的主要骨干教師由紹興市教育局在全市選拔公派,其中有多名市級學(xué)科帶頭人、高級教師、市模范教師等;“紹外”的外教主要來自歐美國家。他們原汁原味的英語課堂、西式文化活動,為學(xué)生們的英語學(xué)習(xí)提供了原生態(tài)的英語學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境。學(xué)生管理團(tuán)隊,“紹外”有一支擁有過硬軍事素養(yǎng)氣宇軒昂的年輕教官隊伍,他們訓(xùn)練有素,和學(xué)生們朝夕相處,成為“紹外”學(xué)生管理的一道亮麗風(fēng)景線。科研團(tuán)隊,“紹外”有一個教育科研支撐單位——紹外教育研究院。該研究院設(shè)有專職研究員和兼職研究員,專門為學(xué)校的發(fā)展提供科研支撐和評價依據(jù)。Four teams -- administrative, teaching, student management, and scientific research. Administrative team emphasizes refinement and flat (efficient, fast, and agile). Teaching team strives for being professional elites, as the core teachers in “SFLS” are from public schools in the city selected by Shaoxing Education Bureau, including municipal academic leaders, senior teachers, model teachers. Besides, foreign teachers in “SFLS” are mainly native English-speakers from European and American countries. Their authentic and western-style English classes provide students with the original environment for learning English. In terms of student management team, “SFLS” has strong and well-trained drillmasters who accompany students from morning to evening, which are famous and outstanding. Research team in “SFLS” is aiming at educational and scientific R&D. This institute has full-time and part-time researchers, who specialize in providing research support and appraisal standards for the development of the school. ○ 五個潛能——通過六年一貫制課程整合 ,激活學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)潛能;通過大作業(yè)訓(xùn)練,激發(fā)學(xué)生寫作潛能;通過建設(shè)英語文化社區(qū),激活學(xué)生外語學(xué)習(xí)潛能;實行有軍校元素的管理,激活學(xué)生行為自律潛能;通過三自管理組織構(gòu)建,激活學(xué)生組織領(lǐng)導(dǎo)潛能。Five potentialsThe integration of school curriculum ranging from Grade Seven to Twelve required by the Six-year Barrier Free Program will well activate students’ learning capability; Essay Writing (based on independent or group reading and research) will firmly stimulate and cultivate students’ potential on writing; The establishment of English Cultural Community triggers students’ enthusiasm on language practice; the military elements on daily management cultivates students’ self-disciplined awareness as well as proper daily behavior and the construction of Three-self Education is aimed at fostering students organization and leadership potential.
