Step 4. Post-listening

The teacher will ask students to read about the disasters below and prepare a short news report on one of them. Remind to start with the most important information and then provide the details. Then some groups are encouraged to show their news reports.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】學(xué)生四人為一組根據(jù)課文提供的信息，準(zhǔn)備一則新聞報(bào)告，并且讓學(xué)生上臺(tái)展示。這樣的活動(dòng)形式可以幫助學(xué)生把所學(xué)的知識(shí)學(xué)以致用，并且鍛煉學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言輸出能力、小組合作能力和口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力。

Step 5. Summary

The monitor will be encouraged to summarize the main idea of the passage and the teacher will tell students they should protect the nature.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】學(xué)生總結(jié)，教師補(bǔ)充，可以幫助學(xué)生回顧所學(xué)的知識(shí)，并且能夠就知識(shí)點(diǎn)進(jìn)行查漏補(bǔ)缺。

Step 6. Homework

Please search for more information about one of the natural disasters and show it next class.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】合理的課后作業(yè)布置可以讓每個(gè)學(xué)生將課堂活動(dòng)延續(xù)到課下，將所學(xué)知識(shí)進(jìn)行遷移創(chuàng)新，拓寬學(xué)生的知識(shí)面。
